Blair Dwyer
Director of Youth Programs
Blair serves as the Director of Youth Programs at StepUp Wilmington, where she leads, creates, and supports programs focused on career readiness, confidence building, and workforce development for high school students and recent grads. Her work includes coordinating partnerships, facilitating trainings, and creating opportunities that help youth explore careers, prepare for employment, and/or pursue postsecondary education or training.
Blair’s role is deeply connected to StepUp Wilmington’s mission of helping individuals build skills, stability, and pathways to success from an early age. She is especially passionate about supporting first-generation students and young people who may be navigating life with limited guidance, helping them feel seen, capable, and supported as they work to reach their goals.
Blair has a masters degree from the University of North Carolina Wilmington UNCW, brings over 10 years of experience in education and youth development, and is a strong advocate for collaboration across schools, nonprofits, and local employers. She is active in the Wilmington community serving on boards, joining leadership programs, volunteering on the weekends, and earning new certifications to better her skills and impact. She is driven by a belief that when young people are given the right support and opportunities, they can thrive.
